Like two peas in a pod

Isla always wants to hold little Ronin. I finally let her and she thought it was hilarious. You can tell she loves her little brother.Everyone thinks little Ronin looks so different from the rest of us. Like he's the milkman's baby. But Isla and little Ronin totally look alike. Little Ronin just has a darker complexion. I put a picture of Isla when she was Ronin's age and a picture of Ronin.

Disney's California Adventure

Monday was the first day that we could utilize our Disney passes. I realized that this will be Little Ronin's first time there. I mostly carried him in one of those baby back packs. We went to California Adventure because Hubby wanted to see how far they got on their construction projects. I forgot how crazy it is there during the summer. All the lines were hela long and it was pretty warm. We ended up not riding anything. We just walked around, ate at the Mexican food place at Fisherman's Wharf and let Isla run around in all the water areas.
On our way out, we got the Mocha Almond Fudge Sundae. It was excellente.

Exposition Park

On Wednesday, Hubby and I took the kids to Exposition Park. Entrance to the Science Museum was only $5 so it was a cheap family outing. Isla had fun running around and playing with the different exhibits.

Just outside of the Museums is a beautiful Rose Garden. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Adjacent to the Science Museum was the Space and Air Museum. The elevator was broken so little Ronin and I stayed on one floor. Hubby took Isla to various parts of the museum and took some great pictures.

Weekend

This weekend was great. The weather was fabulous. On Saturday, my sister and I took Isla and Baby Ronin to Santa Monica. I haven't been to the promenade in over a year. They are completely renovating the mall so I was a little disappointed to not being able to get ice cream but Buddha's Belly desserts made up for that.

We window shopped and stopped to view "the guy who is going to the mother ship" and other entertainers. My sister wanted to eat at Buddha's Belly restaurant. I was a little hesitant since it looked like a nice place and not really kid friendly but it turned out to be a great experience. The food was excellent and great to look at. Baby Ronin slept the whole time. Isla ate children's chicken fried rice and fruit from the fondue dessert plate. No one seemed to mind that Isla was dancing in our booth and switching laps to sit on. The service was excellent so we shall eat there again in the future.
Sunday after church, we visited Grammy. Grammy ended up taking us out to Chuck E' Cheese along with my siblings and my nephew. All the kids had a great time. I don't think Baby Ronin was put down once. He's not even two months old yet and he's already bossing Grammy around telling her to walk everywhere so he can see the sights. Isla was running around, playing games and having us boost her up into the play tubes. She was having so much fun that she didn't want to sit with us to take a Chuck E Cheese photo picture. Here are the pictures we ended up taking...
Aaah, our first family photo. Look how happy the kids look. ; )

Grammy, me and the kids.

Hubby looking less than thrilled at Chuck E Cheese and Isla looking all bug eyed. ; )

Grammy ended up giving Bailey two ice creams. She states "it's mostly just water". All the memories of eating ice cream for breakfast and dinner came flooding back. My brother informed Grammy, "yes, and tons of sugar too".
