More Holiday Fun

We've been doing a lot the past couple of days but I haven't documented much. We went to Disneyland two weeks ago and I thought I lost my camera but lo and behold, I found my camera yesterday while I was cleaning out my car. Hmmm, what have we missed. Hubby, Isla and I went to Knott's and Isla went on the Log Ride. I didn't know they let little ones on that especially with the large drop at the end. Needless to say, she lost her binky on that drop.
Anyway, here is a picture of Isla and Hubby at Disneyland in Small World.

Today we made cake pops. I found the recipe and some great holiday treat ideas on Bakerella.com.
The kids had a lot of fun making them even though I kept chiding them every 5 seconds. I was about to take pictures of them along with their finished product but they found their way outside with Hubby chasing his RC cars. I wasn't going to drag Isla and Cruz back into the house to take pictures while they were all muddy. At least they are having fun.

Happy Holidays

Christmas is approaching and I decided to try to be a good mom. We previously made a reindeer craft that was made out of cut outs of the childrens footprint and handprints. I thought it was cute.
We made Chocolate Rice Krispie Treat Christmas Balls that barely made it to the picture taking because Cruz was busy eating them.
So today my sister was kind enough to purchase us a Gingerbread House Kit. It will be Cruz's and Isla's first Gingerbread House and mine too. So I guess it's not surprising that the roof ended up sliding off but the kids still thought it tasted good. Cruz declared it a Gingerbread Bat Cave and made a Gingerbread Batman and Robin. He's really into Batman and Robin. He keeps referring to Isla as his "sidekick".
